Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction
Women with urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse are seen by the urogynecology service. Advanced cystometrics is available on site for evaluation of difficult cases and for those who have undergone failed incontinence or pelvic reconstructive procedures.
Minimally invasive surgery for urinary incontinence using minimally invasive vaginal slings is offered and well as advanced pelvic reconstructive surgery for those with uterine or vaginal prolapse.
The department has an active biofeedback program for treatment of urinary incontinence (Incon Therapy) for those seeking non-surgical solutions to certain types of urinary incontinence.
